The College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Sports Coordinator within our dynamic Sports team on a full-time, temporary basis, commencing Term 1, 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate to work within a successful sports program and to lead a team of sports coaches. 

 

Previous experience in sports and/or working in schools is highly beneficial, along with an understanding of IGSA and IPSHA representative sports pathways.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong background and knowledge of Netball. Expertise in other sports areas such as Basketball, Water Polo and Volleyball would also be helpful.

 

 

In this role, the Sports Coordinator will:

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational, administration, time management, and communication skills, with regular communication required with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Display a willingness/availability to work outside of regular school hours, including morning/afternoons, Saturdays and non-term time.
  • Hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in recreation or a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Have the ability to organise sports trials, training and games.

 

You will need to provide a Working With Children Check Clearance Number and date of birth. Information about obtaining a WWCC is also available when applying on our website.
